Employee medical screeningin Egypt

From a screening day to a clear next step.

Service locations, staffing and clinical scope are confirmed in your proposal.

Illustrative image

Hospitalia is Egypt's integrated healthcare delivery partner for employers, insurers, TPAs and pharmaceutical companies.

An employee screening campaign should be a route to appropriate follow-up, not simply a list of tests. Hospitalia works with employers to define on-site checkups and screening activity around the workforce, the clinical purpose and what happens after results are available.

Screening planned with a clinical purpose

01

Workforce health checkups

Discuss a campaign combining clinical assessment with appropriate measurements and tests. The final components should reflect the population and the clinical objective, not a universal executive-checkup package.

02

On-site lab sampling

Laboratory draws can be included in the agreed screening campaign. Tests, preparation requirements and sampling arrangements need confirmation before employees receive their appointment information.

03

Focused prevention campaigns

Existing corporate services include screening related to diabetes, cardiovascular risk and women's health. Selection of individual tests and eligibility remains a clinical decision.

04

Results and onward care

Define how employees receive confidential results, how abnormal findings are reviewed and where further assessment is arranged. Screening does not by itself establish a diagnosis.

A clear path from brief to delivery

  1. 1

    Set the objective

Identify the employee population and purpose of the screening campaign.

  2. 2

    Confirm the protocol

Agree clinically appropriate tests, preparation and confidential results handling.

  3. 3

    Coordinate the day

Plan appointments and site flow around shifts and employee communication.

  4. 4

    Close the loop

Arrange individual results and follow-up, then review agreed aggregate measures.

What to clarify before you start

Screening versus diagnosis

A screening result may identify a concern that needs investigation. It is not a replacement for a diagnostic consultation, and a normal result cannot rule out every illness.

Useful employer insight

Discuss aggregated, anonymised reporting that protects employee privacy. Avoid publishing small-group results that could identify an individual.

A scope-based quotation

Pricing depends on headcount, the selected clinical protocol, site logistics and follow-up requirements. Confirm result delivery arrangements in the proposal rather than assume a turnaround.

Common questions

What is included in employee medical screening?

The protocol is agreed for each campaign. It can combine checkups, selected measurements and on-site lab sampling, with appropriate follow-up. There is no single test panel suitable for every workforce.

Can screening take place at our premises?

On-site screening is part of the corporate service offer. Share the location, space, headcount and shifts so feasibility and logistics can be confirmed.

Are all employees given the same tests?

Not necessarily. Test selection should match the campaign purpose and individual clinical suitability, with any preparation or eligibility communicated in advance.

Will HR receive individual medical results?

Individual clinical findings remain confidential. Agree the reporting and consent framework before the campaign; employer insight should be aggregated and appropriately anonymised.

How is screening different from a pre-employment exam?

Employee screening focuses on a workforce health objective. A pre-employment assessment addresses a particular job and its demands. They should not be treated as interchangeable services.

What is Hospitalia's full scope of services?

Hospitalia is Egypt's integrated healthcare delivery partner across four service lines: home healthcare (doctor visits, nursing, physiotherapy and elder care), corporate healthcare (on-site clinics, company doctors, employee screening, occupational health, pre-employment exams and vaccination programs), patient support programs for pharmaceutical companies (patient educators, home injection, adherence follow-up), and healthcare delivery partnerships for insurers and TPAs (home-care network, chronic disease management, post-discharge care).

Can one partner cover our employees, our members and our patients?

Yes. The same vetted network and clinical standards power all four service lines, so an employer, an insurer and a pharma team can each run their own program with one accountable partner — with separate scopes, consent flows and reporting per program.

Which governorates do your services cover?

Our network reaches across Egypt's governorates, including Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and the main industrial cities. Coverage for each site or member location is confirmed during program scoping.

Do your services replace health insurance?

No. Hospitalia delivers healthcare services; we are not an insurer, TPA or claims administrator. Our programs complement insurance by delivering prevention, primary care, home care and follow-up, while claims and policy administration stay with your organization.

How is patient and employee data handled across services?

Individual results stay confidential between the patient and the medical team. Employers, insurers and pharma partners receive aggregated, anonymised program reporting only, under consent and data-protection terms agreed before launch.

How do we get started with any service?

Request a proposal or partnership discussion. We assess your needs, agree the service mix, coverage and reporting format, then launch a scoped program — typically within weeks using our existing vetted network.
